MITTENS

This pattern is for a medium size adult woman, in other words me.  Most of this pattern was hand written and given to me over 30 years ago by my knitting instructor.  Over the years I've  changed the pattern to make it my own.  Please do the same.

Size 9 double pointed knitting needles

The yarn used in the mittens pictures is three different yarns knitted together.  I usually like to use handspun bulky yarn.

Cast on 28 stitches - divided the stitches between three needles - joint being careful not to twist the yarn.
